The BWMW is a group of boat owners on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia who have banded together in the interests of boat security. It is an independent non profit community based incorporated association open to any person who is willing to accept the Charter. Boat ownership is not a prerequisite although all present members own or are part owners of a boat. Most members have moored boats and live on the Central Coast. BWMWbegan in 1995.
The group works closely with local police, marine authorities and the coastal patrol in endeavours to reduce crime and vandalism to all boats - but paying special attention to those belonging to members of BWMW. Although similar to the New South Wales Neighbourhood Watch organisation BWMW is a separate and more specialised group. Where possible BWMW coordinates activities with local Neighbourhood Watch areas.

The BWMW area of operations includes all the water from Ettalong in the south to the northern limit at Gosford.  The area is broken into 12 discrete sectors each with its own Coordinator who specialises within defined geographical limits - see Sector Map Page. There is an Executive Committee who together with the Sector Coordinators make up the BWMW Zone Committee. (See Committee Page for details).
BWMW is a prime sponsor of the Putt Putt Regatta run annually - this year in October.
